Depending on your experience, your responsibilities will include:
In the analysis phase:
  • Research and capture the business requirements.
  • Propose concept and solution based on these requirements, taking into account consumer needs, and define priorities in the functional requirements.
  • Define customer journey, actions and interactions
  • Liaise with the technical team to validate that the implemented solution meets functional requirements.
  • Define information architecture and content framework
  • Define KPI’s based on Business objectives
  • In the design phase:
  • Translate the business requirements into functional specifications and document them
  • Validate the functional specifications against usability and accessibility principles to come to an optimum user-centered design.
  • Provide assistance to the project team and when necessary, provide clarification of all documents.
  • Be capable to shape the user interaction towards the most optimal customer journey and user interface being web, mobile or cross-channel interaction
  • Wireframe and define clickable mockups
  • Asses user interactions vs business objectives and success criteria
  • In the testing phase
  • Take ownership of the testing process
  • Create use cases and test plans
  • Analyze test results and provide feedback
  • Take a sharp view on conversion and customer journey paths
  • Business function
  • Estimate workload to write a functional analysis for resource planning and offers
  • You work as part of the Strategy and Customer engagement team
  • Cross functional report to the project manager and Head of Strategy
As a functional analyst you are capable of defining what needs to be crafted to make digital and interactive concepts achieve the best possible customer engagement in line with business and communication objectives.
·       You have a degree of higher education
·       You have 2-3 years experience as a Functional Analyst and preferably in web-related projects
·       You have a good knowledge of the digital world and trends in the industry
·       You are aware of usability principles and user-centered design
·       You understand the modern consumer and how he uses connected devices
·       You are not afraid to start from a mobie first approach.
·       You can work independently, you are structured, organized and you have attention for detail
·       You can manage multiple tasks across multiple projects
·       You are accountable and resistant to stress
·       You are a team player
·       You are at least bilingual: Dutch and/or French and English
·      You have excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills, in your native language but also in English
·       You are familiar with Visio, Word, Excel, Powerpoint , Axure and/or Balsamiq is bonus.
