Team:
Mentor & train (compose internal/external training&seminar programs for all team members)
Develop best practices, document development  directives, keep them up to date
Direct new development activities
Set goals & objectives, evaluate, manage short & long term ambitions of team members
Guard the use of defined processes/flows
Recruitment of new team members
        
Customers:
Interact with customers to discuss requirements & technologies. Be able to challenge their presumptions. Support them in their internal discussions with their IT department.

Quality:
Define & control quality levels, manage quality control process

Technologies:
Identify emerging technogologies, introduce these in the company
Strong knowledge of currently used technologies @ Boondoggle (mainly Microsoft & Adobe based)

Partners
Manage/extend partnerships with third parties (e.g. Hosting, Streaming, Microsoft, Adobe, …)
   
Colleagues:
Function in an environment where you are expected to challenge and are constantly challenged by your colleagues (especially Creatives, UX & Visual Designers)

Market:
Stay in tune with the competition to determine areas of focus, direction, and relative strengths and weaknesses


Projects:
Familiar with a professional environment that consist of multiple relatively small projects which are developed in parallel, with tight deadlines & unstable requirements.
Familiar with Scrum Project Management & Agile Software Development techniques

Finance:
Responsible for all development budgets & estimates

Report directly to COO.
