This department automates data collection and analysis, enabling quicker and more informed decision-making. The Data & Insights Team at Mediaplus plays a pivotal role by providing advanced insights and automating key processes. Additionally, this team serves as a driving force for innovation, leading initiatives in automation and AI development within the agency.The Data Analytics ManagerWe are seeking a Data Analytics Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving data-centric strategies and project execution that empower the Strategy and Media Planning teams. Your expertise will help optimize data flows, engaging in creative problem-solving, leverage advanced analytics, and ensure a strong alignment between client requirements and internal processes.Job DescriptionCoordination with Data engineers, Data Scientists, Media Experts & Clients:Centralize efforts between data consulting (media colleagues and clients) and data coordination (engineers, scientists, and team members).Act as a liaison between clients and the team, ensuring alignment on project objectives and deliverables.Lead the team in developing and executing a clear data strategy roadmap, ensuring progress and alignment towards shared goals.Data projects execution:Operational Excellence: establish a strong project delivery process, focusing on added value delivery.Strategic/Client-Focused Skills: Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to identify data requirements and use established frameworks to structure projects. Define and implement long-term data strategies for clients, providing guidance and steering teams towards success. Proactively identify potential challenges and opportunities related to data strategy.Key Responsibilities Business needs definition: understand client requirements. Data Engineering Business Definition & Guiding: provide strategic direction for data engineering efforts, aligning them with overall business goals. Drive operational excellence and ensure the delivery of measurable value to clients. Provide data analytics consulting to ensure business processes align with best practices and compliance requirements. Data visualization design: Lead the design and strategy of data visualization solutions, ensuring clarity and impact. Data visualization execution: Manage the execution of data visualization deliverables, including Statements of Work (SOWs). Engage in creative problem-solving: Diagnose and resolve software issues, turning challenges into opportunities for improvement and enhancement. Be the hero behind the scenes: Troubleshoot technical issues with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset to ensure a seamless user experience.Qualifications and requirements Degree in a relevant field such as Digital Marketing, Marketing, or Business Data Analytics, Business, Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, ... Minimum 2-3 years of experience handling data analytics Advanced Office Package skills (Excel, PowerPoint) Experience with data visualization tools (AWS Quicksight preferred, Looker, Tableau, Power BI) Knowledge of SQL programming language is required, knowledge of Python is a big plus Familiarity with project management tools and methods (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) Interest in data crunching and dashboards and data visualization Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Strong communication skills to convey data-driven insights effectively Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies Fluency in English is mandatory, knowledge of French or Dutch are a big plusWhat we offer youOnboarding: welcome round, onboarding days, breakfast, or lunch for newcomers - we ensure your perfect start.Further training: your development is important to us.
