Marketing Campaign Officer

The central campaign team is in charge of the execution of the marketing campaigns (email, direct mail, sms, ...) for D’Ieteren Auto (VW, Audi, Skoda, SEAT, Porsche, ...). The campaign officer, reporting directly to the campaign manager, is in charge of preparing and sending the corporate/brand/dealer campaigns.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute campaigns based on requirements and planning
    • Review campaign scope documents to fully understand the campaign objectives, timing, targets, etc.
    • Create campaign flow in system (Marketing Cloud).
    • Setup CTA, tagging and tracking of campaigns.
    • Create target lists based on campaign requirements and marketing pressure rules.
    • Collect all required inputs (images, texts, videos, ...) and build dynamic campaign content.
    • Test campaign and ensure everything is operational (CTA, link to websites, tracking, A/B testing, ...)
    • Generate and share campaign preview; collect feedback from internal stakeholders, and adapt campaign accordingly.
    • Once all internal validations are collected, send the campaign and inform all concerned stakeholders about campaign blast.
  • Monitor & optimize campaigns
    • Regularly analyse data to understand issues and propose mitigation actions and to identify best performing campaigns and develop recommendations/best practices for future campaigns.
    • Run campaign reports (periodical and final reports) and share with stakeholders.
  • Support campaign planning
    • Regularly inform the Campaign Planner on capacity & expected workload to enable proper planning of production schedule.
  • Contribute to various cross-organizational projects
  • Stay up-to-date with new trends & technologies.


  • Bachelor or Master degree.
  • 1-4 years successful experience in running national consumer multi-channel and multi-stakeholder marketing campaigns, including hands on experience with email campaigns, landing pages, customer segmentation, etc
  • Good verbal, written and visual communications;  French, Dutch,
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with demonstrated success in cross-organizational collaboration
  • Self-motivated and self-managing
  • Problem solving skills and result oriented mindset
  • Organized, process-oriented, excellent attention to detail
  • Strong experience with testing
  • Good analytical and reporting skills
  • Stress resistant with ability to deliver high quality work, quickly, in a dynamic organization under time pressure
  • Have an eye for design.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications. Experience with Marketing automation and CRM systems is a strong asset
