Unique Culture Earns NetApp #1 Best Multinational Workplace in Europe

For the Seventh Consecutive Year, NetApp Is Recognised by Its Employees in the Region

NetApp (NASDAQ: NTAP) was named #1 on the annual “100 Best Workplaces” in Europe list by Great Place to Work®. From this list, a group of 25 companies was honoured as the “Best Multinational Workplaces” in Europe. This marks the seventh consecutive time that NetApp has been named to this annual list.
Organisations that appear on the “Best Multinational Workplaces” in Europe list have been recognised as a great workplace in at least three countries in Europe. NetApp achieved the top position on this year’s list after being recognised by its employees in Austria, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.

Companies that rank high on the list stand out for having created a consistent, high-trust, and supportive workplace culture across national borders. Great Place to Work assesses and selects the best workplaces from the results of an anonymous employee survey. The survey focuses on trust in leadership, recognition, professional development, and camaraderie. Employees also comment on work-life balance, the execution of strategy, overall atmosphere, values, and management styles.

Methodology
In order to be a candidate for the Best Workplaces in Europe list, a company must have appeared on a national Best Workplaces list in at least one country in Europe. During the 2014–2015 cycle, more than 820 companies earned a spot on Best Workplaces lists in 19 countries in the region. This group of companies was eligible for consideration for the regional list. The companies on the Best Workplaces in Europe list appear in three categories—Best Multinational Workplaces, Best Large Workplaces, and Best Small & Medium Workplaces.
